Ryan Langston Luna es un surfer del Área de la Bahía de San Francisco (San Francisco Bay Area). Ryan pasa la mayor parte de su tiempo en el agua. Durante más de 10 años ha estado dando clases en las mejoras escuelas de surf de San Diego. Ahora ha montado su propio negocio Luna Surf Experience desde el que ofrece tours y clases de longboard por la región de The Bay. Ryan además busca inculcar a sus alumnos un uso responsable del plástico a la vez que hace reflexionar a sus alumnos sobre sus experiencias: “queremos animar a una comunidad de mente oceanica”.
Sandy’s Band es un grupo con dos discos en el mercado y un puñado de singles, el último In The Keep of the Collapsting Star, publicado recientemente.
Jack Bober es el responsable de A Morning in the City, un cuidado vídeo con música de la banda local Sandy’s Band.
Together, Sandy’s build giant sized harmonies and resonating echoed guitar work that sounds like it was filtered through a glorious, sunny ’70s filter. Sometimes straight up breezy California surf rock, other times venturing into more hazy psych-pop, imagine if The Beach Boys recorded Pet Sounds again after listening to the Polyvinyl back catalog and you get some idea of where this is rooted. -New Noise Magazine
